the drawback of deferred honesty
the ineptitude of hostility
hard dark chitinous kernel in the head
the laziness of waiting and seeing
treading in thick dark green water
in the stasis chasm
empathetic dream hands driven through
and nailed to a plate
with rail spikes of unchecked black hole cynicism
what's on the other side?

He came back and started eating people.
